Giant sponge found!

This Victoria sponge was spotted in a sandwich shop in Keswick, Cumbria. Quality is unknown since the size and construction of the cake are enough to defend it against all but the most experienced cake-eaters. A mere amateur, I must admit to being slightly intimidated.

Hampshire - grey and overcast

Like a rural version of a Victorian slum, Hampshire this morning is
dull, grey, chilly and damp. The forecast is for better weather as te
day progresses, but it doesn't feel much like summer at the moment.

The walk from the office to the station

How many people get these sorts of views on their way home? These are
shots taken on my walk to the station; glorious weather, great views.
